Future Vision

The ambitious regeneration programme will take place over the next 15 years and will see the creation of a vibrant sustainable community with 5,000 new homes, improved open spaces (including parks and squares), better community facilities, safer streets and improved transport links. Plans for the first phase of development (phase 1a) have received outline planning permission and we are currently drawing up an Area Action Plan for the new area that incorporates residents’ aspirations for their new community.
