Future leaders meeting

This is a forum for young people to comment and influence the way the regeneration of the Aylesbury estate will affect young people

Recent consultation events include:

Cross River Tram Consultation
Residents on the Cross River Tram

Hundreds of people glimpsed how Thurlow Street could look in the future, when a life-sized tram carriage was displayed on the estate in April. The event, held in conjunction with Transport for London, (TfL) highlighted the importance of the Cross River Tram to major regeneration areas in Southwark, such as the Aylesbury Estate and Elephant and Castle. Show Home Exhibition
Photograph from inside the showroow

Around 1,500 people attended the Show Home exhibition a three-week long exhibition on the Aylesbury Estate.  The exhibition featured a full-size two bedroom show home representing the new housing that will be built as part of the first phase of the redevelopment programme.  There was also general information on the scheme displayed and resident volunteers gave up their time to show other residents around. The layout of the show home was changed every week so you could see the different kinds of new homes we may build. More pictures from this event can be seen here
